At TGIS we’re famous for our inventive cuisine, but that’s not all. We are also known for our full service event planning. In December, our namesake Sofia, designed the most spectacular corporate holiday event. The party was for a popular online company. It was held in the heart of the Arts District of Culver City, at the historic Book Bindery.
The 900 guests in attendance were treated to a party that stimulated all of the senses. Pleasing to they eye was the winter themed decor, blue and purple lighting, crisp white furnishings, and mouth watering displays. Pleasure to the palate was the myriad of delights Sofia created. Her menu was inventive and featured many stations placed around the room to keep the party flowing. They included the following:
Sushi to Order Station
Noodle Bar with Carmelized Pork Pelly
Farm to Table Station with Pickled Fresh Vegetables, Salads and Artisan Breads
Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb
Porcini Crusted Tender Loin
Leather tufted bars delighted guests with premium liquors.
Entertainment and activities added to the festivities and delight of the evening. At every turn there was a new surprise. Acrobats performed to great fanfare. Beautiful wine angels suspended from the sky filled glasses with the finest vintages and sparkling wines.
As if wine angels and acrobats weren’t enough, there was also a photo booth with an abundance of props. What a better way to satisfy a sweet tooth than with a cotton candy cart.
Oh what a night! This company party will keep tongues wagging until next year. We can’t wait to see what Sofia comes up with. It’s a pretty good bet, she’ll out do herself again. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind party filled with pleasure for the eyes and the palate, call Sofia. There is no end to her creativity for events.
