Halloween Happenings – The Natural History Museum

BOO! Cackle! Trick or Treat!  TGIS is spooking up some party food across Southern California this year with creepy, spooky and savory treats for all the ghouls and souls that attend.

One such spooktacular event was held at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. The venue was transformed into a haunted museum on Sunday and dubbed “CAMP HALLOW”! The member only event included invitations that queried “Do you have what it takes to survive the wilderness?”. The theme was staged around a haunted scouting event in which guests could earn badges in animal tracking, insect identification and birding. Pumpkins, ghosts and goulish creatures lurked the grounds.

The evening was filled with savory delights. A gourmet macaroni and cheese bar with choice of toppings: bacon, BBQ chicken, potato stix and fritos was one of the highlights. Mummy-luscious cookies and other spooky sweets filled another station.

But all the parties here and there had devilish delights everywhere. From creepy cookies, to chilling cheeses, eerie eggs and so much more!
