A Toast to Jack!

While each and every event we do is special to us, it is even more fun when we have the chance to cater for family members and friends. A couple months ago, we had just that opportunity for George’s college buddy’s BIG 50!

As guests entered the party via a beautiful votive-lit staircase, they were offered hand passed cocktails such as Champagne with Grand Marnier with Strawberries and the Signature Drink…. wait for it… THE DEATH STAR…………. which consisted of vodka, fresh muddled thyme, lemonade and a spritzer with a thyme garnish.

The amazing patio tenting, rentals and linens were all done by Celebrations Party Rentals. Guests also dined on a number of tantalizing appetizers and dishes.

In addition to the charcuterie and cheese platters there were a number of delicious bite-size appetizers to choose from.

Mini Beef Bourguignon Pot Pies were served piping hot, straight from the oven.

Personalized pizza boxes housed Mini Chorizo Flatbread Pizzas for each guest. But one of the highlight of the night was the grand Paella dish!

This amazing and VERY LARGE entree was cooked outside at it’s own station so guests could watch the process as our Chef Norma began the process from start to completion.

When the Spanish rice dish was completed they were served generous portions of the savory concoction which was not lacking in muscles, sausage, shrimp and more! If you haven’t seen the process from start to finish, you are missing something. It really is quite extraordinary and the perfect dish for close friends.
