Meet Stacy! Stacy recently celebrated her 29th birthday. Ok… so it was her 40th but she looks like she’s 21 and who’s counting? This pink and black party was dialed in with amazing decorations and fun from the moment the guests stepped through the door.

As guests arrived, they mingled as hand passed appetizers such as flatbread and shrimp were enjoyed.

There was no shortage of family and friends to help Stacy celebrate the milestone birthday.

Good friends and good food is all you really need for a party, right? Well… while that is true, Stacy’s husband stepped it up a notch by adding a slide show, dancing, photo booth and tatoo artist!

The guests LOVED it. They hammed it up and enjoyed every minute of it.

And what’s a 40th without great cocktails? Champagne and smoking Pink Bikini Martinis were flowing.

And while Stacy was the star of the night, we’d like to think our food would win for top supporting cast.

The Barollo Braised Short Ribs were served UP, Martini style with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Onion Strings.

Adding to the comfort food theme was the Slider and French Fry station. Choice of spicy Kobe beef sliders with Gorgonzola butter and pulled pork with honey molasses sauce. These were paired with  Parmesan truffle fries and sweet potato fries with a variety of dipping sauces to choose from.

The station was rounded out with a Butterleaf Bibb, Frisee and Baby Arugula Salad topped with marcona almonds, chopped dates, cranberries and shredded Asiago.

The Pacific Rim Sushi Bar was no wall-flower at the party. The sushi chef prepared fresh Nigiri to include shrimp, salmon and eel. The large rolls were a mix of California Rolls, Vegetable Rolls and Spicy Tuna Rolls. The small rolls included Tekka Maki and Kappa Maki. All served with plenty of soy sauce, wasabi and ginger.

And of course, you CANNOT have a birthday party without CAKE! Cake and three kinds of cake pops and a dessert table worthy of a princess was a delight for young and old alike.

But wait… we didn’t stop there. A made-to-order dessert station of home made crepes with a variety of fillings and toppings rounded out the desserts for the night.

Again, Stacy, happy happy birthday! We enjoyed working your wonderful event.
