The Warland Round Up

Yeee Haw!!! It’s that time of year again… The big Warland Tenant appreciation event. And this year did not fail to go over the top with both the theme, the food and the fun.

As in years past, the event was held at the Warland Business Park. This year the space was transformed into a rootin’ tootin’, ranch style, western hoe-down, complete with a Western trick roper, band and decor worthy of a movie set.

The props and tables provided by Celebrations Party Rentals were festive and bright with the western theme.

And in line with some of the past years, guests enjoyed trying their luck at casino tables.

The food stations and bar were styled to fit into the old west theme with covered wagon, barrels and rustic touches.

The signature drink of the night was the Hard Lemonade Cactus Cooler.

The Saloon Sliders food station included Pulled Pork & Barbeque Brisket Sliders served with Sweet Potato Fries.

Our unique Cowboy Cornbread Topped Chili Jar was a guest favorite with Homemade Cornbread Baked Over White Bean Chili and served in a mason jar. Available toppings included corn salsa, cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives and diced onion.

Our servers also dished up chi ken and beef links served on pretzel or potato bun and paired with homestyle three cheese caramelized onion macaroni and cheese at the Lasso Yer Links and Mac station.

To round out the western grub, we served Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles served with a maple remoulade.

Our Billy the Kid’s Barbeque Chop was a perfect pairing for the rich chicken and waffles. The salad was comprised of iceberg and romaine lettuce, diced gouda, grilled corn, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, crispy fried onion strings and our homemade BBQ ranch dressing.

The desserts stole the show with “The Outlaws” station.

Red Velvet Cake served with fresh whipped cream.

Peach Crisp with fresh whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.

The trick roper brought party into his routine.

A photo booth was set up so guests could take home some more memories in addition to the bandanas and flashers that were handed out as favors.

There were no shortages of great locations for photo ops. And everyone learned a little roping themselves!

The raffle prizes were wrapped in festive western bandanas and red and brown packages.

Rossmoor Pastries provided an adorable cake for Carl Warland’s birthday.

Happy birthday Carl! Another great year… another fabulous party! Cheers!
